Left side pieces made entirely out of aluminum. Initial fitting of the pieces, as received from the supplier, indicated some problems.

As one can see here, nothing seems to fit as expected. Some adjustments will need to be made.

Installation of the left door reveals a major discrepancy in relation to the swag line on the front wing. The door skin will need to be refitted starting from the bottom.

The left rear fender is re-cut so it will fit properly lengthwise.

After the door has been adjusted, it is now at the right height to line up with the fenders.

Everything fits, now ready for welding and final assembly.

Here is a photo of the aluminum bodyshell finally completed. The dimensions obtained from factory drawings were adhered to the millimeter. The fabrication of this 100 respects its authenticity, all its identification numbers were retained as well as its original licence plate. I am of the opinion that Gerry Coker will be happy with the end result.
